Nazis, Disney, and James Gunn.

Why should James Gunn be rehired by Disney?

Firstly, I’ll catch anyone who doesn’t know what is going on in the magical world of Disney. James Gunn is the writer and director for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. one, and two. He was writing Volume three and set to start filming it in October. Until about a week ago, a right-wing journalist, Mike Cernovich had posted a few tweets that James Gunn had posted between 2008-2011. These tweets were nasty, if you took them seriously, you would almost assume that James Gunn is a pedophile. But seriously, then you need to lighten up. I’m not defending them at all, they were horrible, and Gunn never should have posted them. But to say that those few tweets reflect his personality as a whole? Of course, they don’t. Long story short, James Gunn posts a few nasty tweets, ten years later they bite him in the butt, Disney fires Gunn. Disney more than likely didn’t want to do it, they just figured if they didn’t than they would have the mob at their castle just like the end of Beauty and the Beast.

There are many reasons as to why James Gunn should be rehired and given a second chance to prove himself. Firstly. He already has proved himself, it’s not like rehiring him would be giving him a second chance. Cause hiring him was already a chance, and he proved himself worthy to lift Thor’s hammer. It’s not like those tweets weren’t there when Disney originally contracted James Gunn to write and direct Guardians of the Galaxy. It just wasn’t a big deal back then.

But now I figure if you take anything anyone says out of context enough, take it way too seriously, anyone could get fired for anything. I would take a tweet from Disney’s CEO Bob Iger and twist it and make it “super evil” and mean. But I respect him too much. I like him being at the head of Disney, except for this one instance where there is no forgiveness for Gunn. He may have created movies that allowed families to come together and smile, laugh, and cry. But he posted a few nasty tweets ten years ago so “Off with his head”

This whole situation is easy to sort out without even thinking about it that hard. They were tweets, people post things to shock people all the time, just for attention. I would understand firing him swiftly if what he had said he was following through with. If he actually was a pedophile then I would understand. But we have no proof. This is the paranoia of the #metoo movement. This is the other extreme. We don’t want to start accusing people who aren’t guilty. We want to get the guilty people locked up, and then continue smiling and laughing without them.

One thing I would like to point out is that Disney has always been a very forgiving company. Walt Disney specifically was extremely forgiving. I’ll give the most stand out example of Walt Disney’s ability to accept the change in people, in order to work together and create amazing things.

Wernher Magnus Maximilian Freiherr von Braun, it’s a mouthful I know, I’ll just call him Max for now. In his early twenties, Max worked in Nazi Germany’s rocket development program. You heard me, “Nazi” and I mean it for real, he was a legit Nazi. He helped create the V2 rockets that were used in World War Two by the Nazis.

When Max was a kid his mother gifted him a telescope, that allowed him to develop a passion in astronomy. He once got in trouble in his hometown for detonating a wagon, by attaching fireworks to it. He was inspired by speed records established by Max Valier and Fritz von Opel, in rocket propelled cars. I thought that was cute.

But later in his life, after being well taught in the ways of math and rockets and like space and stuff. He joined the Nazi party during World War Two. –

“In 1939, I was officially demanded to join the National Socialist Party. At the time, I was already Technical Director at the Army Rocket Center at Peenemünde (Baltic Sea). The technical work carried out there had, in the meantime, attracted more and more attention in higher levels. Thus, my refusal to join the party would have meant that I would have to abandon the work of my life. Therefore, I decided to join. My membership in the party did not involve any political activity.”-Max

After a while he was set with a team to research and develop the previously mentioned V2 rocket. He was using some technology from America’s own Rocket enthusiast Robert A. Goddard, who he was almost a fan of. But a test V2 had crashed in Sweden, and parts of it were shipped to Goddard who confirmed that Max was using his technology. Max reflected on this later and said this…

"His rockets ... may have been rather crude by present-day standards, but they blazed the trail and incorporated many features used in our most modern rockets and space vehicles."-Max

The funny thing is, it was confirmed later that Max had never seen a patent of Goddard’s while developing the V2. So, they both basically made some similar advancements without knowing about it apparently.

In 1942 Hitler ordered for the V2’s production as a vengeance weapon. In 1943 Max made a color movie to show a V2 taking off, Hitler was so impressed with Max that he personally made him a Professor. In Germany currently, that was a big deal for a 31-year-old engineer to be a professor already.

One of the biggest events in Max’s history is cool to me. While working in Peenemünde Germany, the Soviet army was getting close to them. They moved their research to a town in the Bavarian Alps, where they were guarded by the SS, who had strict orders to execute the team if they were about to be captured. Seems harsh. *shrug*

Max convinced the SS officer to disperse the soldiers into the town where they were. To not make them such an easy target all in their own base, away from civilians. Max and his brother Magnus (who I forgot to mention earlier but he’s been here this whole time) and the rest of the team escaped to Austria, where they found an American Solider, and they then surrendered to the Americans, As you should. 😉

“We knew that we had created a new means of warfare, and the question as to what nation, to what victorious nation we were willing to entrust this brainchild of ours was a moral decision more than anything else. We wanted to see the world spared another conflict such as Germany had just been through, and we felt that only by surrendering such a weapon to people who are guided by the Bible could such an assurance to the world be best secured”-Max

After they handed themselves over, they were interviewed by The British first, and then the Americans second. This team of engineers consisted of the future lead designer of Rolls-Royce and the inventor Concordes engines. Also, Max’s brother was eventually a lead executive for Chrysler.

Max on the other hand eventually was lead designer for our Jupiter-C rocket, that was the West’s first satellite in space. Max had new ideas for rockets, but America was only interested in a very modest rocket program. In the meantime, the press was all caught up on Max’s past as a Nazi and all that. (Naturally)

Now the point that I’ve been leading up too, Max met Walt Disney at some point. He became the technical director for Three television films on space exploration. The first broadcast was titled “Man in Space” and it aired March 5th, 1955, with 40 million viewers. That’s a lot of people. Also, I’m fairly certain there is a life size model of the V2 rocket in Tomorrowland in Disneyland to this date, thanks to Max.

Walt Disney did not let Max’s affiliation with the Nazi’s affect his perception of Max’s character, only ten years after being a Nazi. So why should we let a few tweets from ten years ago affect our perception of James Gunn? We shouldn’t. He’s changed over his time, just like we all do. And if we are going to go around treating people like they are 100% unable to change for the better, then why should we strive to be better at all? Why does anything matter? It’s a dangerous mindset that shouldn’t be getting its way. I mean if we’re going to judge people based on their past then let’s look at Robert Downy Jr. I’m teasing. He’s a different man than he was back then.

…And Max wasn’t the only ex-Nazi to work for Disney.

I feel like there literally must be something more to this than we know. Call my crazy but maybe Disney wanted James Gunn fired but couldn’t justify it. So, they had someone rat him out so they could fire him? Seriously the reason they did it was already so stupid…

Hillary is a robot...

...or a cyborg. Lets just lay this out for everyone to see people. I don't want to come to an irrational conclusions but I feel like this is something that the world needs to see. I already put it in the title of this blog just to catch your attention, and if it worked, all I have to say is...

Also welcome to my blog, I never write on his unless some light bulb from an alternate reality pops up above my head and I feel like I must grace everyone with my political views and such. So don't expect to see anything here for at least another four score and seven years from now.

NOW!

Let's start with the exciting stuff, this is really obvious when you lay everything out in front of you, when you look at the past 8 years of Obama's presidency, you see Hillary all over the board. Like if it were a game of monopoly, you'd rather just go to jail, because that's where you are safe from her...Or go to Benghazi, Too soon? Nah, it just made for a good segway.

Hillary is a robot, I know this because one of her main flaws in whoever programmed her, failed to add any regard for human life. Like we all know that she doesn't really care for the lives of Americans, I mean, when she was being questioned about Benghazi she just throws out the good old fashioned "At this point, what difference does it make?..." I mean, if I could have easily prevented the murder of four dead Americans, but didn't, I would have used that too. It was super effective! Just like Hydro Pump! (Shameless Pokemon GO plug, I know.)

But with that said, this situation seemed kind of hard to discern lie from truth, but now with the election going on and the internet literally making memes about her secrets and people mysteriously dropping dead when they are about to go testify against her...literally, this lady has good poll scores because she is an internet joke. Like I don't even think people actually like her, she's just that weird kid that yells a lot and everyone just barely tolerates because their mom told them that she's just "Special"

But for real, when you add Benghazi and all the mysterious deaths, and then you think about it for two seconds, you realize that this woman has no regard for human life. That's a robot trait if I've ever seen one.

My next point is her email scandal, I know, I'm a conservative republican and I just need to put on my niece's Elsa dress and let it go. But...

Why should I let it go? This is a very problematic problem! I know I like to use more words just to fill in space, no matter how repeatedly redundant I get, but for real. This isn't something to just shrug off. It's not like your little brother took a single M&M from you. It's like your Mom took 10,000 pieces of double chocolate, Oreo filled, double Oreo cheesecake with extra Oreo on the side. We're gonna have to hire some top notch cheese cake enthusiasts to get those back! And literally, what was in those emails, was it info? was it some dank memes? was it the release date of half life 3? I doubt it, and this is where my theory comes into place.

We've already established her inability to have any regard for human life, I bet she stomp on butterflies and swats ladybugs too. But with that said, given she is a robot, she would have to have some form of coding, or cloud system to run off of. So maybe the emails were a cover for a cloud based system that uses Googles speech to text feature to receive questions, and answer them with prerecorded messages. We can already do that with our phones, text me while I'm driving and my phone sends you a messages saying "Hey, I'm driving right now, I'll text you in a bit." so whats the limit? Hillary has no regard for human life and her mind is connected to a cloud based email response system that allows her to function like a normal human being....who is about as well off as Tom Hanks in Castaway, after he finally gets to the island, and fights off polar bears. Wait, that's the wrong island. Well whatever, what difference, at this point, does it make? (see what I did there? that has a name and I forgot what it was so lets just nod our heads and move on now, eh? eh. MOVING ON!)

Her server must also be responsible for her health though, or mainly how her OS is running, it's made with dated hardware and needs replacing. We see her body malfunctioning like it was built to withstand the sneeze of your average size house rodent. Look at these gifs, they are gold!

This one I'm not sure if it's legit, but It's not really far fetched, so I threw it in. This next one is one of my faves...

It looks like she fell into a Michigan pothole. Have fun in China, Hillary, I hope you enjoy it. I recommend getting some cheap upgrades while you are there as well. Look at that punk in the suit run over and look around nonchalantly covering up whats happening. It's almost like they have something to hide...OR DO THEY? Look at this next gif....

Did the beat just drop? Does she love electronic dance music? It looks like the DJ just dropped a mad mix tape and she just couldn't help but pull our her glow sticks mid interview and start raving. Or maybe she's just really cold. Or maybe her dry cleaners forgot to use non static sheets. Maybe she's getting possessed by the Devil himself. Who knows....a few people do. But what difference does it make. We just have a pathological liar running for president of the freaking united states, and these aren't enough of an issue to stop this from panning out...the last gif is my favorite.

That look you get when you open a gift that you wanna look at your balloon head of a husband but you can't separate him from all of the balloons in the building so you just look like this. #relatable #realtalk

So with all the evidence provided, it's clear to us all that she isn't human, she is a robot. Maybe a cyborg, but we'll see. This woman is aging faster than any animatronic at Disney World. But hey, that means if she wins the election, Disney won't even need a new animatroic for the Hall of Presidents....but that would certainly be the scariest Hall of Presidents experience ever. I think she is controlled by some outside source, but we will continue this another time....maybe.

Thanks for reading, and I look forward to hearing all y'all thoughts on this matter. Toodles!

Not to pull the Trump card, but...

The 2016 election process has come to some pretty pathetic standstills. And I'm seeing a lot of splitting up going on within parties and such. To say the least, america is anything but united as far as this election goes. And that I can partially understand, it's looking like it's going to be down to either Trump vs. Hillary. and like, two schmucks from two rich entitled, families are about to be battling it out, to be the leader and face of our free world.

I will now give a small background on my past and what I was raised believing. I am a 19 year old Christian boy, I was home schooled, and I was raised as a conservative. My family was always so politically involved, and I loved growing up in a home that cares so much for the future of America.

This is my first presidential election that I am voting it. I just now have the ability to vote and voice my opinion, and I love it. Watching the primaries when you have a vote in the game is way more intense and honestly stressful; a good stress though.

Someone that I look up to, and I see almost as a secondary mother in my life, said this the other day.

"...My spirit is in havoc just thinking about it. Maybe I will crack under the pressure in the voting booth but right now I cannot escape the fact that I will have to answer to God and my children for the person I vote for in November."

I've seen this pattern a lot though. And I have one question to ask back, is "And how to you answer to God and your children, when Hillary Clinton is elected as president?" It's a certain mindset of "Man, I don't agree with this politician 100% of the way, so I'm just going to set up a lawn chair and say that I did my best. And then cry as a worse of two evils brings out country further into this downwards slope."

I'm going to call you all out on the fact that you are now sitting on the bench with someone who you were really pissed off at last election, for not voting for Romney because picking the better of two evils is the obvious choice, when given it.

The only reason we are sitting here with Trump as our only option is because of people who decided not to vote for Romney in the last election. I don't usually like to live life in the past. But how many times are we going to choose the worse of two evils until this country IS falling apart. How many times are we going to pick the worse of two evils until our country, that you, your kids, and your kids kids will call home, is a sinners playground? Think about it. It's already bad enough. And not voting isn't going to make the problems go away. Not voting is just crying uncle, cause you don't have the backbone to pick a worse of the two evils, because you yourself have sinned in similar ways than both Hillary and Trump. I would normally say "We can't judge somebody because they sin differently than we do." but I've lied and I've had my perverse thoughts as well.

It's honestly disappointing, I finally have a right to vote. And I knew that America wasn't united...but I at least thought that we, as a family were. And If you truly are trying to send a message to the world of politics, than lets actually get off our butts and start educating people on this stuff, instead of sitting back and watching the place you call home go into flames. There is literally a gif...

I don't really have much else to say. Can I convince you that Trump is trustworthy? No, but at least he wants to make America great "again" which gives me way more hope for my future, and my kids future, than a "progressive" change that has been splitting up America since 2008.

I would also love for like, me to die someday, and Jesus is giving me my Performance Review, and he's like "Oh, but you voted for trump in 2016...you've done some bad things, but this is just the worst of them all." And then Jesus sends you to hell, because you voted for Trump, not like, cause you stole some cookies, or lied to your parents. I'm just saying...

The last Resort

I had the chance to talk with a friend the other day about something that has been bugging me for the past few years. Honestly this isn't something that I've really cared about until lately, only because it has come up a lot. We are going to talk about prayer today. or like, this month, Cause I only blog every so often.

But lately, I have become and expert on prayer. No, I haven't. But one thing I have noticed lately in this time of day is followers of Christ saying "Well, all we can do it pray" or "I guess we can only pray now..."

This bugs the snot out of me, *blows nose* but really, since when has prayer become a last resort instead of our first line of defense? Who was it that said

"we can do all things by ourselves, unless things go wrong, then start talking to God."

Yeah! Nobody said that! So I'd just like to take a few moments to press a few verses about prayer on you so that you leave this blog feeling like

Lets take this seriously now though, look at Psalm 145:18 "The lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth."

In truth. Is the truth that we should live in prayer? I work in the fast food industry and I see lots of people come and go, daily. And I often see someone who seems like they are having a rough day, I don't judge them for being grumpy with me. I just pray for them, their day, and their loved ones. I'm not writing this because I'm a perfect example of how to live life. I only say this, cause it's different from what most would do. after all, 1 Thessalonians 5:17 "Pray continually

Take a glance at Romans 8:26 "In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pay for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express." This one is beautiful. I don't even need to expand on this.

lastly lets look at Colossians 4:2 says "Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful."

That last one is so simple. Just, flat out basically saying that we should pray no matter what, in the darkest of nights, in the hottest of sunny days. whether we are made of money or we are gather pennies to keep food at the table. We can always have prayer, it should always be our first line of defense.

Thank you for reading, my name is Jonathan, and I belong to him.

______ States of America

"United states of america"

This is something that a 18 year old boy who is growing up in the states sees all around himself. Almost as thought it's been brainwashed into his brain, and is being forced to believe it. It really is a puzzling thing that even the past two generations have seen not a whole lot of. "United we stand." Is it true? Do we, as Americans stand for each other? Or do we only believe in a lie that was once true?

I look around me, social media, politics, and just general life and civilization as it is. All these things about being politically correct about how we say things to each other,  and treating others equally. Has that become the moral focus of our equality? Has that become what we call "United?"

Again, I stare around me looking at things such as equality, racism, and sexism rip apart families in a way that is terrifying to me. Why are we letting things like that become the focus of our nature when there really is only one thing we need to focus on?

I bet you're all wondering "what do we need to focus on, Jon?" And it's going to sound really corny to you. But, it's really simple. God.

"Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world. Red, and yellow, black and white, we are precious in his sight. He loves the little children of the world."

Now if you read that and got caught up on how scandalous that is. Shut up, take a walk, and talk to me when your mind is clear, because you are proving my point. You completely missed the focus of that song. It's not pointing out any differences in our races. It's in fact telling us that Jesus loves all of us no matter what. It's uniting us as not only a country, but a world. Take it from Jesus, he knows a thing or two about being united.

Anchors of distant contrast

I've lived on this world for 18 years now, and one of the things that I've noticed bugs me the most, is the separation of church denominations all over the world. It's not so much getting worse these days, but it's just more accessible, with the internet. One pastor can't speak to another pastor for such and such reason, and the whole church gives that church a cold shoulder.

While reading a facebook debate between two Christians about who even knows what (Why am I reading? Because I'm human). I notice an argument between two Christians of different beliefs could go on forever. Like a two football coaches of different NFL teams, yelling at each other about who can do the most push-ups, without actually doing push-ups. Why no push-ups? Cause when I see these debates I rarely see any of these people bring up scripture in a debate.

"You are my refuge and my shield;
I have put my hope in your word."-Psalms 119:114

Why does this bug me? Because I'm a peace keeper, I hate conflict and any kind. So I resorted to this magical book of wisdom that I like to refer to as ""The Bible" (Some people put "Holy" between "The" and "Bible"). Nonetheless, It's still the Bible. Whether you use your phone, or the actually book is irrelevant, It's still scripture. And if it did rack up points with the big guy, we'd have a lot more people walking around with thousands of scrolls in wagons while wearing robes and sandals.

This popped up on my "Verse of the day" application the other day, it was kind of ironic, so decided to launch it.

"May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had,so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." -Romans 15:5-6

Notice how we are all to have the same attitude of mind toward *GASP* Each other?!?!?!? I don't think that meant that we we're to bicker more about who's getting the biggest share of heaven. I think that's saying we're to be more united, as one voice.

Now if you're about to start pointing fingers as to who started the argument, then put that sorry little finger back in your pocket, I've got a verse for that too!

"What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?"-Romans 8:31

So Who can be against you when the creator of the universe is for you? No one.

I'm Jonathan, and I belong to him.

Is it really this simple?

I'm sitting here at 10:30pm writing this because I cannot find sleep in my consciousness. My life is before me and I seem to not be able to do anything to get myself forward. I just get motivated, and then suddenly I get hit with this wave of whispering consciousness, that's telling me I'm stupid, that I can't do anything, that I'm worthless.

But I know this is far from truth. I know that God has greater plans for me, and I know that he loves me more than I could ever comprehend. I love him so so much. He uses me as a tool in so many of my friends lives, and it's been so amazing to see them grow in faith with him, as they walk the road with him.

But here I am, stuck, and my feet are stuck to the ground, I'm to nervous about my future that I can't do anything about it. It's sad butt true, I'm week in the area of integrity. But in me I know one thing I love. Is preaching God's name, telling people the truth, and showing compassion where other's wouldn't. I love to represent forgiveness as a whole. I love who I am.

Is that my problem? Do I love who I am so much that I'm to scared to move forward in my life? That might be the case. but one thing I need to remind myself, is that I have a spiritual gift. And I know God will utilize that, for his greater glory. And I'm very happy to oblige.

I've come to the conclusion that the only thing holding me back is doubt. Because I want to go into pastoral studies, but the thing holding me back is not any part of me. It's just the demons inside of my soul telling me that I'm worthless. Why would they do that? Because I know that I have the capability to reach out my long, clumsy arms, and touch so many people's lives. That is why the devil would be working against me. It explains a lot.

I'm only wrote this for my own sanity. I just needed to clear my mind. I do apologize about this.

My name is Jonathan, and I belong to him.

Suffering

Look, I've gone through life trying to help people, and sometimes it's just gotten me in a lot of trouble myself. And it's hard to know that something terribly wrong is going on with a loved one, and they don't see it. It's like cutting your own hand without realizing it. And not even checking if someone tells you it's happening. One common thing, so many different people with different personality traits have said this. And these are words that I just hate hearing.

"You just don't understand"

Two of my closest friends have told me this in the past month. You know what? most of the time I do not know the pain they are feeling in that situation. But the thing that pains me the most about those words, is the fact that they just gave in to blindness. They just turned to deceiving themselves into believing that they are special, and that no one can help their miserable little life.

I don't mean to be talking down to these people at all. I do love to help. But one thing I've come to realize about these people, is that they have no idea what they are saying. Basically it's saying "You don't know what it's like to suffer" Is that true? Of-freaking-course it's not! Everybody knows what suffering feels like.

It's just our own bitter demise that temps ourselves into believing that we are experiencing a special kind of pain. Pain is a heavy load, but you know what? When friends,  and family are offering to help even out that heavy load, I'd let them. Bilbo says it very well, in lord of the rings. "I feel like butter being scraped across to much bread"

The other thing, is that we have to be open to suffering. Suffering is something that we all must encounter before we reach our final destination. It's literally impossible to go through life without some amount of pain, or suffering. But does it help to know that there is someone up in the sky, who knows what is best for you? yes, and knows that you'll enjoy the results of this suffering much more than anything you could dream up on your own. How does he know? It's easy, he created you for that purpose!

I see suffering as a challenge, is like a test that God is giving us. Just so see how well we push through, and if we still have faith; and if we glorify his name. Why on earth would you want to fail this test? Heck, I wouldn't. Whenever I feel like I'm suffering, I'm usually quick to remind myself how much pain, and suffering Jesus went through when he died on the cross. Very very little pain in reality. We should be very grateful.

Hmmmm....

How am I going to leave you with this? Try to be more open when you feel emotional pain. It might up to share the pain your experiencing. And I'm not saying you should go around telling strangers your sad story, I'm saying that when someone lends a hand, go ahead and take it.

Wake up and leave your one person pity party! There is a God who loves you.

Psalms 34: 17-18 "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

I belong to him.

Last night was my last performance of my last show I will probably ever be in. And I look forward now to college, or I'm trying to at least.

As I'm singing the last song, I look out into the audience and see my mom, almost in tears, as this is her last curtain call from her line of six kids. I made her proud, I can tell cause she was crying. Looking around at all my friends I've made in the past four years here in this drama group. They are all smiling and rejoicing God's name.

As the song finishes, the lights go down. I look over at my friend, who played the main character. I give him a hug. He doesn't see the tear in my eye, but I let him know that he is going to be missed. Walking off the stage two of the girls who played big parts give me high fives, and a pat on the back. This just sent me through it all.

I felt my lip curl over and my eyes start to water, i quickly escape to the bathroom and pull myself back together. Leaning over the sink I look at myself, and suddenly I see a man before my eyes, It was a moment of realization for me, that I had grown up, and I have responsibilities now. My life was before me, and it is up to me, to follow God's plan and glorify his name along the way.

I have faith in myself to follow God. Now I know I'm not very good at writing, science, or math. But one thing I absolutely love is helping people, talking to people, and encouraging people. I have no idea where i would be be without God guiding me, and my words, when my friend come to me for help.

Another thing I'd like to talk about is my parents. They home schooled six kids willingly. And I was a surprise child, being born five years after my next youngest sister. And my parents have home schooled for 26 years. That very well could have been 21 when my sister graduated, and put me in school. But thank God that they didn't. I don't have anything against the public school system. I just like home schooling better. And it has given me time in my own life to invest in my friendships, music, family, and photography. All things I love.

I must say, to God. I can't thank him enough for all he's done for me. And a line from the play that strikes me through the heart, is that "I belong to him" It gets me every time. He's given me his life on the cross. And it only makes sense that I'd pay him back with my life as well. I can't even express how thankful I am for my King, who has done so much for me. It makes me emotional just thinking about it. My life is before him, as well as it is before me. It's just that he knows more than I do. Which, if you think about it, is pretty freaking awesome.

My name is Jonathan, and I belong to him.

For the boys.

Now a very common argument between men is manliness and what is considered "Manly" and it's understandable, honestly the only reason men argue about this is self confidence as to whether or not they have a chance at getting a girl or not.  Personally I find insecurity about being a man, very un-manly. I'm sure that looks so mature that we get into Facebook debates about who is the manliest. But lets just step back, forget everything we know about manliness and just look at what it means to be a man.

You may say that being able to tame a grizzly bear family, on your own, is manly. If not you may also say that being able to wrestle a giant squid in the ocean, is manly. I must say, being able to do either of those would be very impressive. Though impressive is not what manliness is, and if it was, there are a lot of very manly woman in this world, I must say.

But you take those ideas away, stop showing off you mad guitar skills...basically stop being an idiot. And look at the origin of men. Men were the first people to wear tights in the middle ages, and that was considered very "Manly" and lets be serious, that doesn't make them gay in any way. That just make them perverts, there is a reason they wanted wore tights, and wore make-up, to impress the ladies. And lets be serious, the root of it is impressing the ladies. And that is what was considered manly at that point.

Your probably like "So whats this have to do with being manly?" and patience, I'm getting there.

Have you ever been swing dancing? Or maybe even ballroom? If not then I'll give you a secret. If you are the man of the couple, you are leading. You are the one who is leading the woman into all kinds of tricks and stuff. And if you are good at leading, great, woman find that impressive. You know why?

There is nothing more manly than being a good leader.

Now before you get a team together for capture the flag, and become today's playground tyrant. I'm going to let you in on a few...A lot of secrets to being a good leader. Cause there is nothing more harmful than power. You can interpret power however you want, whether it being money, strength, knowledge or if you have all of those. You may win immediately, but the long term win turns out to be a loss. I've seen this for like...a every guy I know, including myself. "Fools find no pleasure in understanding, but delight in airing their own opinion."

Now here are a few things you will need to have down in order to claim ultimate manliness. My Pastor spoke on this a couple weeks ago, and gave me these ideas.

1: You should always be above reproach.

2: You need to be a faithful husband/fiance/boyfriend. Cause loyalty and honesty are the most important things in a relationship.

3: Balanced, make sure you are balanced in every number on this list. It's hard, but worth it in return.

4: Self Control, this is where the power is to be challenged. You might say "I don't have issues with power" but that's exactly what you would say. Right?

5: Respectable, this is also to be applied to every number on this list.

6: Hospitable, no, this doesn't mean you should be able to clean your house, though that would be nice. But this means you are to be able to interact "Politely" with people. the actual definition for this is "friendly and welcoming to strangers or guests"

7: Able to to teach, this is my hardest. You are able to teach, I know this for sure. But you might not be a big group teacher. One on one teaching might be more your thing, Or the other way around.

8: Not a drunkard. Yes, I said it. And you know who you are.

9: Not violent. Yes, I said that too. You know who you are as well. I hope that if you struggled with abusive situations in your life, that you can slowely get over it. Not by gaining power on your own, but just becoming okay with it. and perhaps helping people in similar situations. Imagine being able to be hospitable, loyal, and able to teach, at the same time.

10: Not quarrelsome, "given to or characterized by quarreling" Basically don't be a jerk. This goes with 8 and 9.

11: Not a lover of money. This is a place where people struggle with balance. Its okay to have lots of money, just don't obsess about it.

12: Good father. Leader, teacher. Teach family to respect, and be hospitable.

13: Be a mature follower of Christ. You are just now realizing that this is all bionically based. And some of you may be rolling your eyes. But if I had you up to this point, then why stop now? Maturity is an amazing thing, as long as you have come to realize age has never made anyone wise.

14: You must represent Christ well. In favor with God, and Men.

That's all I know about manliness. Now I quoted something above the list. "A fool finds no pleasure in understanding, but delights in airing his own opinions." I would like to take this time to say, that was from the holy Bible. That was Proverbs 18:2. In fact if you read the whole book of proverbs over and over again, you will start to uncover some serious truth.

Thank you for reading, and I hope you can take as much out of this, as I have.

When Dearth is Crowned: Is earth at stake?

Timothy was ticked. David wasn’t here yet, and it’s been fifteen minutes since the phone call. He should be here by now.  Maybe he was dead, wouldn’t be disappointed. The slob was good for only two things, playing video games, and breaching the wall between countries and starting global warfare. He was something short of a threat, just didn’t know it.

Trevor looked up from his desk with three flat screen monitors, “Guess what?”

“Where on earth is David?” He said this without looking.

“He’s on his way, his tracker shows that he’s only a few minutes away.”

“You have him on a tracker?”

His mouth hung open, while he gathered his thoughts. “Yeah, he’s a threat to any nation that is within our atmosphere, he’s under strict curfews, and diets.”

“Oh, is that what you were going to tell me?” He was calmer, conversations calm him down.

“No, I forgot to mention that there are alerts about blue lasers of death raining from the sky, in Idaho. Apparently aliens have landed, and are destroying everything.”

This wasn’t even slightly funny, “Not funny, I don’t want to joke around right now.”

Trevor picked a piece of paper off the printer, and slid it across the planning table, it read “Aliens landing in Idaho, entire cities destroyed in a matter of hours.”

“You do realize that an alien invasion is not a ‘guess what?’ matter. How did we miss this?”

“We didn’t, the United States government did. We’re on our own. Only funded by them.” This was unfortunate for millions of people. But in reality, what could we do about rays of light shining down on us, mirrors? Dumb idea. Worth a try though.

Timothy was pondering about all of this for a while, “Then what of the rabies infestation in Greenland? Its turning humans into complete raging fools. And seems to be spreading quite rapidly.” His mind was racing, why was this all happening at the same time?

Trevor didn’t say much, “We can’t worry about either of these things until we locate Heather, and get her back. She is the key to fixing everything that is going on, she just needs to believe.”

This was intriguing, “Believe, in what?”

Trevor walked down an aisle, between rows of analysts, geniuses, and foreign computers. “White men built this country on beliefs that have been ditched. ‘This nation, under God’ you know what I’m talking about?”

He knew, just didn’t want to talk about it, he looked at papers that didn’t mean anything to him, within the past three days he has found out that he has a cousin, she has been kidnapped by a nation, and probably brain washing her.

Trevor spoke, looking right at Tim, “And about the rabies, don’t be afraid to call it what you want too. Its more dangerous than most are making it out to be, we both know what zombies are, and I don’t want to be fooli-“

“Whoa whoa, when did anyone say anything about zombies?” He was so confused, alians, zombies, nations bombing nations, Heather captured. Everything was going wrong.

“The rabies in Greenland, it started with a bite from a (animal). The doctor went home and overnight, he turned into a crazed lunatic, and tore apart his wife a-“

“Stop! Talking! Let me get my breath before you continue, this is a lot for someone who isn’t used to all this, this…” he didn’t finish, a doctor tore apart his wife. That’s something the zombies in video games do, not in reality. This was making him nauseous, but what the heck, “Kay, keep going.”

“the doctor broke into people’s houses, and starts biting. That apparently converts, you know how zombies work. The whole town has turned now. And whoever was left died, of heat exhaustion, and dehydration.”

Greenland, heat, wait what? “Wait you mean in Iceland?

Trevor knew what he was thinking, “No, I mean in Greenland. It seems that not only are the towns turning, but the weather as well. It’s been hitting up to one hundred degrees, that’s never happened in Greenland, ever.”

Timothy started to get it now, “So it’s like a plague, as it spreads, people will start turning without even being bitten, right?”

“No, it’s just gets very hot, nobody that knows about this infestation, understands.” This all makes sense now. Trevor pulled his phone out of his back pocket, it just then vibrated, “He’s here.”

“Excellent!”

When Death is Crowned: Whats in the skies?

News reporters were covering news of the Russian airstrike in New York. No one knew what provoked this incident. No one knew anything. But naturally the mainstream media was taking it out of context, blowing it out of proportion, and using it as a political crowbar against anyone who opposed them, and they’re opinions.

Stephan Phillips clicked off his ten year old, tube TV. Sick of all the words people said. Hoping that Jesus would come back and just save all the people who deserved it, If anyone truly did. Or maybe everyone would just shut their mouths, and keep their ideas to themselves.

Mumbling under his breath “Hipcrits.” He stood up and walked across his small ranch house into his bathroom, and looked at himself in the mirror. He was getting old, thirty-six years of age. He noticed wrinkles above his eyes, played around with them.

“Hon, Would you like to cut the turkey?” His wife yelled from in the kitchen.

“In a minute!” He didn’t want to cut the turkey, but he always did, he didn’t want to ruin Nana’s happiness with his grumpiness.

He opened the door and slowly made his way down the hall. No noticed the paper on the floor by the front door. “Rabies infest research facility, in Greenland.”

He spoke in his deep, weak, voice “Yeah, right. Next thing we know they will be saying stuff about Zombies, may the Lord of pity on this generation.”

He walked into the kitchen, rather humble. No dishwasher. The sink had been newly remodeled, with a chrome faucet. He opened up the drawer, with rusted gliders, and grabbed a semi-dull knife; and started slicing the turkey into pieces.

Sarah spoke in her soft voice, “Honey, I’ve needed to talk to you.” She seemed, to pity herself. Was she sleeping with another man?

There was a long pause; she was waiting for him, “Go ahead, what is it?” He dreaded saying these words.

“Um, I’m moving out of the house. I haven’t worked through the details. But I’m leaving tonight, after dinner.” She spat these words out with no shame at all. She was obviously over him already.

He wasn’t sure if now was a good time to ruin her happiness, with his grumpiness. But he didn’t want this to happen. They’ve been married since their early twenties. They’ve gone through so much.

He spoke, “Hon, look, I don’t wan’t this to happ-“

She interrupted, “What was that? I can’t hear you!” Here she goes… “All you do is sit around, mumbling, and watching TV. You don’t even keep up the farm anymore. What’s your secret, Laziness? I’m leaving you, and I don’t even know where I’m going! But as long as it’s away from You, I do-“

His turn to talk, “Well then get out! Do you have to sit there pointing fingers at me? See if I care! I’m getting old! I can only do so much, with these crippled hands!” His argument was weak, if this was happening he just needed to let go.

She stood up and started down the hall to the bedroom, “I’m leaving tonight and there is nothing you can do about it; unless I see change in your heart, right now!”

He just stood there in the kitchen holding the knife, pondering what he could do, to change this. He still loved her, though she had no desire to be there any longer with him.

She stormed down the hall and left some bags by the door. She opened the small closet, exposing her many jackets, and his one pair of shoes. She sat on the stairway leading up, while putting her shoes on; glaring at him. She sighed hard, and opened the door.

It opened with intensity, slammed against the wall, ouch. She stormed out, and slammed it closed. “Don’t ask me to come back. Our memories are gone. I hate what we used to have!”

He stood and paced to the door with intensity, he opened it up and saw her closing the trunk to her car, his car. “Hon, that’s not you’-“

“Do not, call me hon. I am not your hon! And screw you, I’m taking the car!” She sat in the car.

He stood there, a single tear fell down his cheek. Was this really happening, all so fast. “Fine, take the car. I won’t need it anyways.”

She turned on the car, looked at him, and then shrugged; and started driving down the long curvy dirt road. The emotions felt exactly like that; like a curvy road, of perfection, and suddenly a cliff, and she grew wings, and left him for dead.

Just then, he felt a strong gust of wind, forcing him back inside. He scrambled to his feet. Flung the door back open, and ran out into is lawn, or what was remaining of the grass. Another gust caught his feet and sent him to his knees. He heard a crack in the sky, he covered his ears. Was this lighting?

Looking into the sky her saw a blue beam of light reign from the sky, it slammed into the ground with an impact so great, that the sound alone threw him into a shock. Laying on his back he looked up into the cloudy sky, and red flaming rocks were falling from the sky and slamming into the earth’s surface. Was this the end?

He stood, motionless. He couldn’t hear anything. He looked to where Sarah was driving. There was dust clearing away from where one of the rocks had fallen. Trees separated on the side of the road, just as the dust was clearing he saw the side of the blue sedan she has stolen, underneath the boulders. This was a dream, it just had to be.

Another quake in the earth sent a shockwave from the beam in the ground, totally evaporating all boulders around; and sent the crushed car flying. He could barely see the shape of Sarah’s head inside of the car, he heard a faint scream. And just then, only twenty feet from him, another Blue beam fell from the sky and completely disintegrated the car.

“No, Sarah! No! This isn’t happening, first the divorce, then this. He needed to get out of here. And Fast.

He turned and ran into his house, the door off its hinges and on the floor. He ran down the hall, and threw the old scratched up door off its hinges. Moving around it, he stumbled down the stairs, and opened the door to the walk in freezer. He should be safe here, for now. Flicked on the lights, slammed the door shut behind him. This was his new home.

He could still hear the noises, the lasers, and the chaos. Everything was going wrong, only fifteen minutes ago he was watching the news. He wondered if this was the only place that this was happening. Who was doing this? Was this China? England? He had no clue. All he needed to do was survive.

When Death is Crowned: A rude awakening.

She opened her eyes, not knowing how she was saved, or was she in heaven? No. She’d be in hell. There were two men talking to each other across the room. One she recognized from earlier, he had a nametag on, Aton Bowdon, perfect. And then, other man, not so much. He seemed spiffy, well put together. But the Darker complexion didn’t help any. He was bald, built like a tank. But he wore a suit. She dubbed him “okay.”

Aton was looking in her direction, not blinking, was he blind? He seemed relieved to see that she was awake; at least someone cared, “How’re you holding up?” was he serious?

“I’m, scared.” The words left her mouth before she knew how true it was. She needed consistency, a purpose.

“That’s very natural” the black man spun, looked at her. His nametag read “Evan Boles” The name didn’t fit him. Not even close.

“And are you a professor in, sacredness?” she asked this sarcastically.

“Nope, but I interrogate prisoners. Quiet often actually.” He said, there was a tone of mockery in his voice. At least someone had a sense of humor.

Aton then interrupted, “Now Tracy, we need to get started on the training, as soon as you are ready. We have a deadline to be ready for, and we don’t exactly have a lot of time.”

Training? “Training? No, Ugh!” Both men seemed confused, they didn’t understand of course, “Is that my name, Tracy?”

Evan laughed, very loud, and wide “She’s always been a joker, hasn’t she?”

Aton wasn’t amused though, she wasn’t either, “I’m not joking, I woke up with no memory.  Just had the most eerie dream, I truly need some help.” She was starting to cry. “I need to see someone who can help me with this, condition.”

Aton piped up, “We will have our psychologist come to see you first thing in the morning, but right now was you might need is something to eat. How about you come out to the dining room and we can get you a turkey sandwich?”

Yeah. That sounded good. “Please, I would love that.” She was relieved to know these men were at least trying to help her, that’s the last thing she needed, was to wake up with no memory, and have nobody there to help her. She was following Aton out into a hallway, there were dark, hardwood floors, and logs lining the walls. She was in an formal log home. When she got to the end of the hallway it split two ways, to the right was a huge room with a towering ceiling. In the middle of the room was a long rock table, with wooden chairs lining around it. At the end of the table there was a huge six foot tall fireplace, and it was boasting a beautiful welcoming flame.

Were flames welcome? Was fire a sign was welcome, or was it a sign of pain? Why is it that when she feels freedom she feels contained? The mysteries of her mind were racing. And she had no idea where they were racing too. Or why they were racing. She could only push forward and hope to find the answers to her questions. She has yet to find out who her friends were. She was Tracy. And that is all she knew.
                                       _________

Eating was one of the most awkward things, well, that she could remember. Everything seemed to be focused on her, and that was the last thing she wanted. Here she was eating a sandwich, at a huge table. And 4 people were seated at the same table, and watching her eat. She knew if there was a moment to ask her questions. Now would be the time.

She pointed at Aton, and Evan, “I know you two. But who are you guys?” She was being polite. She meant this question directly to the tall man with long, brown hair. And a blond, mustache, it was so wrong! He needed some help, serious help. The other man was an average height from what she could tell. He had a darker complexion; his face had “evil” written all over it.

Of course the evil one spoke first, He had a quick way of speaking, “I’m David Lewiston. I’m the President of Atom Laboratories. And this is Matthew, our chief scientist. He’s the one who will get you started in the morning.”

Wow. So she’s working as a lab rat, a test subject? So I’m Tracy, I have no last name yet. I’m a Test subject for Aton’s little lab. This sounds like an interesting life she’s gotten herself into.  “Well thanks. Now what exactly am I training, to become?”

Matthew smiled “An assassin! You probably don’t remember. But we chose you.”

“Chose me? Like picked me off the street? ‘She’d be a good lab rat’ what do you think I am?”

David answered while scribbling in a notebook, “You are Tracy Thompson. You are a very skilled martial artist. We invited you to join us in our cause and you accepted. You signed a contract, no backing out.” He opened a folder on the table; he started to look for something.

She crossed her arms, “I’d like to see that contract.” She regretted saying that. He had it out of the folder in no time. He slid it across the table to her. He pointed to her signature. Crap.

“Well, I’ve forgotten all I know, in the whole martial arts thing. So what do you expect me to do?” She was looking for excuses now. And they all knew it.

“We expect you to learn it! Matthew is an expert in these ways. And you will pick up fast, and thorough. It’s in your blood.” He took the contract in front of her, and slid it back into his folder. She studied it to make sure she remembered what it looked like.

“And who will I be targeting on my, like, first mission?” She wasn’t sure how to word that question, it came out awkwardly.

Matthew spoke up, he obviously was involved in this “We will be flying you to America, where you will be deployed in New York City. There is an agent there by the name of “Timothy Shelfer” and you will study his ways, and when you think the time is right. You will strike. We want it quick, clean, and we want him dead.”

That name. It rang a bell in this empty head of hers; it’s probably nothing, really. Her head was like a massive tornado of memories, and she was drowning in all of it. She didn’t know what any of them were about, or what was happening to her. But she knew that there was something fishy about this. And she had a feeling that there was someone, or some people out there in the world who are looking for her. And all she needs to do to get their attention is come through with this assassination. And everything will be all right.

When Death is Crowned: Dream.

The deep depths of snow filled the dome with snow. It was filling up fast. What is going on? Black slowly approached the snow and caught it on fire. Soon everything was on fire. The depths of Heather’s subconscious looked just like this. She was happy here. This was her home. And it was.

Everything had taken form, it molded into her house, she knew not of what was going on. But her first thought was to run to her bed, and that is what she did. This was strange. She is controlling her dream. Could she control other things in her dream? She picked up a vase full of dead flowers and dropped it “Don’t break!” It fell to the floor, clattering around spilling the flowers on the floor. The noise echoed down the rustic looking hallway, with pictures hanging on its sides. She noticed something bazaar about the images that the frames closed in…

…Taking a step toward them, in one she could see a man pulling her up a cliff, into a white room. She looked to the image opposite. It was crooked, shaking actually. It held and image of her running away from the missile strike. Pieces of rubble flying everywhere, missiles raining from the sky, as far as she could see. Everything was being destroyed. A security van outside exploded right next to her, she didn't seem to feel the pressure of the explosion, in fact she seemed protected from it. The house was leveled behind her; there is no way that anyone came out of this alive. When the tremor hit, she watched herself fall to her knees. She couldn't help. The yellow school bus was flying toward Heather at an alarming speed. She knew what was about to happen. Heather reached her hands out and the bus lifted up.

A Helicopter she hadn't noticed flew over her head, It opened up, a man showed his face, He had a dark complexion, he was strong. He pulled out a rifle of some sort, got heather in his cross hairs, and fired. She watched as they flew away. She watched Heather’s eyes roll to the back of her head. Heather was fighting this, and making it worse. Her eyes closed at that moment. She lay there. The bus fell sideways to a horrifying stop.

She was startled back into reality with the sound of the door behind her opening. The light was shining. She only saw the shape of a female walking into the house. Wind blew from behind, as the door was forced shut. Leaves were rustling around the foyer. She was looking at the shoes of the woman in front of her. She wore Black converse with white laces, green corduroy skinny pants, and a white t-shirt. This woman had a nice sense of style.

It took her a moment. The face of the woman was familiar. She had darker toned skin, with longer face, a nose piercing, and a smaller sized pointy nose. What made her realize what she was looking at was the brown, wavy hair. She was looking at herself.

She asked the obvious question, “Where did you come from?” She didn't want to sound stupid.

Heather replied with exactly what she thought she would say “Hanging out, you know.”

“I really have no clue actually. I was just watching me, or you, or whoever it was, in a memory of mine. As though it was a movie! That’s not normal” She wondered if wherever she was sleeping, if she was sleep talking.

The other heather walked over to the kitchen, and opened the cupboard, “Why is the tea always gone?” She was disappointed with this, well, they both were.

“I need some coffee, or something to get me thinking.” She walked over to the coffee maker, conveniently already brewed fresh coffee. “Would you like some?”

The other Heather nodded, “Yes please, with cream, no sugar.”

“I know how you like it.” She said, smiling. She kind of liked this whole idea. She looked out the window, there was a field covered in tall grass, all leading up to a dead, tree.  There was someone next to it, a man, in a black tux, bow-tie, and a mask?

“Heather, hand me the camera, please.” She said this with urgency. She wasn't sure about this.

The camera was in her hands, in no time. She zoomed in on the character, who seemed to be getting closer to the window, seemed to know she was there. She focused on the mask, the white mask. And diagonally painted in red was the word “Fear.” It was working. The masked, man seemed to be moving toward the window at a slow pace, but he wasn't moving his legs. He was gently moving over the ground, as though hovering. This scared Heather, and Heather. They both panicked.

She felt a pull, a tug, as though she was on the end of a rope, a dog collar. She started to get dizzy beyond belief. Actually, everything that’s happened has made this dizziness feel refreshing, a normal feeling. Everything started to fade out. The other Heather was in a corner of the kitchen, sitting on the floor hugging her knees. She was crying. Banging on the window is the last thing she could take. Heather started screaming “GO AWAY! PLEASE!” She was sobbing. The sound of shattered glass behind her was the sound that queued her.

She was lying on the floor of a dark void of emptiness. There was nothing she could do to assist Heather with the horrors from above, or down below. Where was she? Where is she? Who is she, Heather? Who is Heather? She had so many questions, and as far as she knows she is lying 50,000 feet above sea level, on a cliff in Sweden. She knew so much about Heather, but she knew nothing about herself. She needed questions answered now. And she didn't’t know who to trust. Not even herself.
